What is a Celebrant?
Certified Life-Cycle Celebrants are professional officiants who create one-of-a-kind, highly personalized ceremonies using storytelling, song, ritual, and more to celebrate and honor their participants in meaningful and unique ways.
Celebrants are open to and respect all clients, regardless of religious/spiritual beliefs, sexual identity or orientation, or ethnic background, and are trained in how to honor and include traditions from diverse ethnic cultures and religions.
As your Celebrant, I’ll help you and your partner create the wedding of your dreams by writing and performing a custom-crafted ceremony that is unique, personalized, and an authentic reflection of you as individuals and as a couple.
I don’t have a template, I don’t use boilerplate. I approach each wedding with an open spirit, heart, and mind, so that I can tune into what will make your ceremony truly YOUR ceremony.
No matter your religious or spiritual persuasion ( from mainstream religion to earth-based traditions to atheism), I’ll find ways to incorporate your beliefs into the ceremony, even if you and your partner have different or even opposing beliefs – if that’s what you want. Ceremonies certainly don't need to be religious or spiritual in any way – it's entirely up to you.
Whether you want a ceremony that’s traditional and reverent, or one that’s zany and playful – I will make that happen!

My goal as your wedding Celebrant is for your family and friends to walk out of your wedding saying, “WOW! That ceremony was SO THEM.”
My diverse background showcases the many skills and talents that make me an outstanding Celebrant – creativity, writing, public speaking, working well with individuals from all walks of life, respect for others’ views and beliefs, and thinking quickly on my feet. I’m also extremely detail-oriented, an excellent listener, and passionate about serving others to the best of my ability.
